Steps (overview)

Here are the overall steps for building your DIY Ardumower:

  1. Assemble the chassis (motors, mower slice, blades etc.)
  2. Assemble the PCB
  3. Connect motors, battery
  4. Download software and flash the Arduino NOTE: If you have never worked with Arduino before, read our 'Arduino first steps' introduction.
  5. Using Arduino serial console:
    1. Ensure motors are connected correctly
    2. Configure Bluetooth module
  6. Using Android pfodApp:
    1. Calibrate battery, motors etc.
    2. Calibrate IMU
